Iron Chef Ian: Crockpot Chicken Tikka Masala

Ingredients

2 tbsp Garam Masala spice (optional)1 cup yogurt (vanilla or plain)2 tablespoons lemon juice 5 teaspoons ground cumin 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper 1 tablespoon fresh ginger (minced)2 teaspoons salt (or to taste)3 boneless skinless chicken breasts (cut into bite-sized pieces)1 tablespoon butter 1 clove garlic (minced)2 teaspoons paprika 8 ounces tomato sauce 1 cup heavy cream (or half and half) 1/4 cup fresh cilantro (chopped, optional)

Instructions
  1. Throw all ingredients together into the crock pot. Cook on low 4-6 hours.
  2. Transfer to a serving platter, garnish with fresh cilantro and enjoy!
  3. Serve with Basmati Rice. (Or if you are going healthy, you can use cauliflower rice, or brown rice)
